PAST PROGRESSIVE

The past progressive is used for events taking place in or around a particular time in the past to indicate that something was temporary or talk to changing situations.

EXAMPLE:

  1. She was eatting pasta.
  2. They were playing soccer.
  3. Karla and Camila were listening to music.
  4. I was not playing tennis.
  5. Maria was dancing salsa.
  6. Andres was traveling in Canada
  7. She was begining the homework.
  8. Were you reading my letter?
  9. Camila and I were Crying for you.

PAST SIMPLE

The simple past tense is one that is used to talk about an action or something that occurred in the past and no longer has any relation to the present.

EXAMPLE:
  1. He ran in the park.
  2. Mauricio ate pizza with his girlfriend.
  3. She walked in the shopping center.
  4. she didn`t ate pizza.
  5. They traveled to Miami
  6. Clary played basketball.
  7. The teacher danced in the Camila`s party.

  • Opinion: I found an excellent movie because it is unresolved after the drama of a murder. The movies name that has a striking focus to the public to see the different social problems in the U.S.A.

The adverb is a part of sentence that modifies the meaning of the verb or noun.
The adverbs of frequncy are a part of sentence used to indicate how often or how often something happens.
Usually the adverbs of frequency are used in the present simple.
For example the frequency adverbs usually and sometimes can go tthe beginin or the end.
The frequency adverbs ever must go interrogative form.
